Light your Kamado with 3 or more firelighters so that you get several glowing cores. Place the standard grid in your Kamado and open both ventilation sliders to the maximum and close the lid. Let the temperature rise to 250-370 °C. Have you reached the right temperature? Then close both ventilation sliders halfway.
Tip: use the multilevel lift together with the crescent grids, in this way you can put your ingredient higher or lower as you wish.
