This recipe is made in collaboration with ERU
- Light a medium amount of charcoal and heat your Kamado to 220-240 degrees °C . For this recipe you are working with direct heat. Then place the cast iron grate in your Kamado.
Cook time
- Slice the courgette into thin, long strips using a peeler or mandoline.
- Lay a rasher of bacon flat, place a courgette strip on top and sprinkle with EldurApi 53 Hummus Mix.
- Cut the green pepper into thin strips.
- Place a stick of ERU Sambal cheese and a strip of green pepper in the centre.
- Roll everything up tightly and secure with a satay stick. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Lightly brush the rolls with sriracha sauce for extra heat.
- Place the satay sticks on the hot cast iron grate and grill for 8-10 minutes, turning regularly, until the bacon is crispy and the cheese starts to melt.
- Remove from the Kamado, brush with a final layer of sriracha if desired and serve immediately.
